From Idea to Reality
Little Italy was missing something.
My cousin and I spent years wandering Arthur Avenue — the sights, the sounds, a century of Italian and Albanian heritage baked into every storefront. We loved all of it. Except for one thing.
A truly exceptional espresso. It seemed impossible that Lavazza — one of the finest coffee houses in the world — had never made a home here, two blocks from Fordham Road. So we decided to build one.
Noya Cafe opened its doors to bring Arthur Avenue the cup it deserved: brewed the way this neighborhood does everything — with passion, and served straight from the heart.
The Craft
Every cup starts with Lavazza.
We import and pour authentic Lavazza through a machine built for precision and pressure — no shortcuts, no substitutes. It's the same cup you'd find in Turin, poured a few steps from the Arthur Avenue Retail Market.
